Deep in to the recording of their debut album, this single builds on the theme of dark inward looking soul gazing. It takes the pain and suffering and spits it back out in a biting and angry salvo aimed at ghosts from the past. The string and guitar laden track packs an emotional punch, starting with contemplation before all hell breaks loose with a glorious crescendo that clearly evidences the catharsis in Cate’s vocals. There’s a sadness amongst the fire.
